Intermediate/Advanced Pottery Wheel Course
Ages 16+ | Exceptions made for advanced younger students

Ready to take your wheel skills to the next level? This 4-week course is designed for students who have completed our beginner series or have prior experience on the wheel. We’ll explore more advanced forms, techniques, and specialty items—while reinforcing studio expectations and safe practices.

• Price: $220 for the full 4-week course, & 1 week for glazing

• Please note: Your class will be for 4 consecutive weeks. If you need to reschedule, we allow one free rescheduling. Any additional rescheduling will cost $15

Who It’s For:

• Ages 16+ (advanced teens may apply with instructor approval)

• Required completion of our Beginner Wheel Course or demonstrated prior experience

• Perfect for students refining technique, building a portfolio, or creating functional ware

Class Policy

To ensure everyone has the best experience, please take a moment to review the following class information and studio policies:

🌿 Class Structure

Our monthly pottery wheel program includes four consecutive weeks of instruction and one additional week for painting all the pieces you’ve created.

• Your pieces will be ready to paint two weeks after completing each class, including the final session.

• This timeline allows for proper drying and firing of your work.

• During your painting week, you are welcome to visit the studio multiple times on weekdays to glaze or paint your pieces — make the most of your creative time!

🗓️ Rescheduling & Attendance

We understand that things come up and do our best to accommodate changes:

• You may reschedule one class free of charge.

• Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) will require a $10 rescheduling fee.

• No-shows will forfeit the opportunity to reschedule.

Please note that our instructors are compensated for every scheduled class, whether or not students attend. Because our class capacity is limited to 10 students, missed classes also mean another student may lose the opportunity to participate.

🧽 Studio Care & Clean-Up

We take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming creative space — and we appreciate your help!

• Please clean your work area after each class.

• Tools and materials should always be returned and maintained in proper order following studio procedures.

• Respecting the space helps everyone enjoy a smooth and inspiring experience.

🏺 Piece Pick-Up & Painting

Your bisque-fired pieces will be available to paint for 30 days after you’ve been notified that they are ready.

If you’re unable to come paint within that time, we encourage you to pick up your pieces to take home or store safely. After 30 days, any unclaimed work may be discarded to make room for new projects.
