Ready to dive into wheel throwing? Our 4-Week Beginner Pottery Wheel Course in Farmington, Utah is designed for adults with little to no experience who want to learn the full ceramic process—from centering clay on the wheel to glazing finished pieces.

This hands-on course meets once a week for 120-minute classes, with each session building on the last. Students will learn essential pottery wheel techniques in a supportive, small-group environment while gaining confidence using professional studio equipment.

What You’ll Learn

• Pottery wheel basics, centering, and shaping

• Trimming techniques

• The firing and glazing process

• Studio etiquette and proper cleanup

All materials, tools, glazing, and up to 4 fired pieces are included. The course also includes extra studio visits to glaze your work once pieces are ready.

After completing the course, students become eligible for our Pottery Wheel Membership, which offers Open Studio access and additional learning opportunities.
